The UNCG Transfer Promise is a partnership‐based program that makes transferring from participating North Carolina community colleges to UNCG smoother, more affordable and better supported. Students at partner colleges have access to UNCG advising on their home campus, tailored course pathways aligned with UNCG degrees, enhanced scholarship opportunities and a streamlined path to earning a four-year bachelor’s degree. We’ve partnered with our colleagues at GTCC, Forsyth Tech, Alamance Community College, Central Piedmont Community College, Davidson-Davie Community College, Randolph Community College, Rockingham Community College, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, Durham Technical Community College, Wake Technical Community College, and Cape Fear Community College to make transferring to UNCG as seamless as possible for students like you.
VERTO Education is a program that allows students to earn college credit while traveling and studying abroad for their first year of college. We are thrilled to extend an admission offer to Verto participants who meet our outlined eligibility requirements. Our Transfer Admissions Counselors work with students all over the country and North Carolina and offer advice about everything from credit transfer to degree selection. If you have a minimum of 24 semester hours of college-level transferable courses from an institution to which you are eligible to return, and are in good standing, you’re a Transfer Student!
