Fee Waivers
The UNC Greensboro application fee is $65 for each application. Below is a list of options for fee waivers that UNC Greensboro accepts. Please note that we do not participate in the CFNC Application week, also former and second-degree students are not eligible for any waivers.
First-Year Applicants
- College Board/SAT
- ACT
- NACAC
- Common Application:
- Note: this fee waiver is approved by your School Counselor and then uploaded to the Common App by the counselor.
- UNCG Middle College:
- Applicants that are graduating from the UNCG Middle College should submit their application and not pay the application fee. We will waive the fee once we receive your transcript.
Transfer Applicants
- Transfer Information Program (TIP) Attendee:
- This waiver is for new transfer students who attend one of our Transfer Information Programs. Students will receive the waiver code after the program.
- NACAC Transfer Waiver – Option 2 must be completed.
Military Fee Waivers
Any applicant who is a veteran or actively serving member of the United States Uniformed Services as defined in 37 U.S.C.§101(3), a member of the military reserves, or a member of the National Guard, who were not dishonorably discharged, will have your application fee waived. We will need verification from one of the following documents: JST, DD214, LES, or a copy of orders. Your fee will be waived, and your application will be evaluated after supporting documentation is received.
