With the AAS Business Guarantee, you can turn your Associate of Applied Science in a business-related field into a bachelor’s degree from UNCG’s Bryan School of Business and Economics. Whether you’re currently earning your AAS or have already graduated, the AAS Business Guarantee offers a clear, guaranteed path forward in your education and your career. 

What is the UNCG AAS Business Guarantee? 

The AAS Business Guarantee makes transferring your AAS to UNCG simple. Your AAS credits apply directly toward your UNCG degree, covering many of the core requirements so you can graduate faster with your four-year degree. 

How it works:

1. Complete, or be in the process of completing, your AAS degree from a North Carolina community college in a business-related field.
2. Apply to UNCG with guaranteed admission. 
3. Transfer your AAS credits to UNCG. 
4. Meet with a UNCG advisor to plan your courses. 
5. Start earning credits towards your Bachelor’s in Business degree.

How will my AAS credits transfer? 

The transfer process is straightforward — apply to your choice of program from the Bryan School and we’ll transfer your AAS credits to UNCG. Depending on which AAS degree you have and which UNCG degree you’re pursuing, you can transfer up to 64 credit hours from your AAS. 

Is admission really guaranteed? 

Yes! If you’ve earned (or are earning) your AAS from a North Carolina community college in one of the seven qualifying programs above, you’re guaranteed admission to UNCG once you’ve completed your application.
