WHAT IS A TRANSFER STUDENT

  • You are considered a transfer student if you have 24 or more transferable college credit hours from an accredited institution and have graduated high school/earned an equivalency.
  • Are eligible to return to the last institution you attended.

If you have fewer than 24 transferable college credit hours from an institution accredited by one of the agencies below, then you are considered a first-year transfer student. First-year transfer students must meet requirements under both transfer and first-year admissions requirements programs.
