My personal motto is: "It always seems impossible until it's done."

My goals are: To feel as though I've made a difference in someone's life. As a CTR major, my plan is to work with kids, and if I can make a difference in at least one child's life, I'll know school was all worth it.

I selected UNCG because: It allowed me to stay close to home, which is really important. I also really love our campus. Even now, I'm still in awe when the trees and flowers are in full bloom and everything is so green and bright. It's so gorgeous, and I fall in love with it every spring.

My best UNCG moment: Making Dean's List the semester I took 18 credit hours while working two jobs at the same time. It allowed me to see that anything is possible if I work hard and stay focused on my goals.

My biggest surprise at UNCG: The amount of opportunities that surround us as students if you take the time to go and look for them.

My favorite place on campus: Yum-Yum! Not only can you get some great ice cream, but during the spring, I love to just sit at the benches and people watch. You see how busy campus is and you get a great view of our school.

On the weekends: I relax, whether that be through running, having a daylong Netflix binge, or taking a daytrip to the mountains. If possible, I always make sure I take some time during the weekends to focus on something other than my schoolwork.

My favorite class: My favorite classes are the ones in my major. CTR is full of fun-loving people who want to make a difference in this world. I'm surrounded by peers who enjoy learning the same things as I do, and all of the professors are so great, too.

I am involved in: Chi Omega Women's Fraternity, Lloyd International Honors College, and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

My favorite food on campus: Chick-fil-A. You can catch me there on multiple occasions during the week!

Favorite thing to do in Greensboro: Being a tourist! Even though I've been here for a while now, I love visiting new spots and restaurants. You can never learn too much about the city you're in, especially one as historic as Greensboro.

If I could have a superpower, it would be: To be in more than one place at a time. There's so much to see and do in this world, and even though I've already experienced a lot of it, there's still more out there, and I don't want to miss a second of it!

My one piece of advice for prospective students is: Try everything! College is the time to figure who you are and what you want to do with your life. Get involved in what really interests you, and don't be afraid to try something new just because it's different. It's your life, and only you can choose what it becomes.
