Major: Economics

Graduation Year: 2018

Hometown: Raleigh, N.C.

My personal motto is: Smooth seas do not make skilled sailors.

My goals are: To one day be the head of my own economic consulting firm.

I selected UNCG because: The excellent Bryan School of Business and Economics.

My best UNCG moment: Homecoming freshman year.

My biggest surprise at UNCG: The incredible free resources available to all students.

My favorite place on campus: The campus rec center. I love spending time in the rec, whether I'm working out, going for a run around the track, or playing basketball.

On the weekends: I hang out with friends, play golf, watch sports.

My favorite class: So far, microeconomics (ECO 201) has been my favorite. I had an excellent professor (Jeffrey Sarbaum), and I found the class to be fascinating.

I am involved in: I am a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, and I am working on starting a club ice hockey team here at UNCG.

My favorite food on campus: I'm a big fan of Wild Greens, because I love salad, but the caf is my go-to. It's good no matter what.

Favorite thing to do in Greensboro: Going downtown, playing golf, going to Hanging Rock State Park, and even just relaxing and hanging out with friends on or off campus is always a good time.

If I could have a superpower, it would be: Shape-shifting. I think it'd be pretty fun.

My one piece of advice for prospective students is: Get out there. The best way to start your college experience off right is to get a core group of friends to help you relax and de-stress. Maybe that means going to a campus event that you're not completely into in order to meet people, but it'll be worth it in the long run.
