Major: Studio Arts

Graduation Year: 2018

Hometown, State: Charlotte, N.C.

My personal motto is: "I work hard so my dog can have a better life," or at least it will be, when I get a dog.

My goals are: To be the absolute best I can be, to travel often, to always be open to new things, to be passionate and genuinely happy, and to get a job that I love when I graduate.

I selected UNCG because: The campus is gorgeous and unique.

My best UNCG moment: The first time it snowed my freshman year and my friends and I went sledding in trash bags.

My biggest surprise at UNCG: Becoming an orientation leader. I was so excited!

My favorite place on campus: The art building, because there is beautiful artwork lining the walls and it's always changing, so there's always something new to see.

On the weekends: I get as much homework as possible done, plan for the week ahead, then chill with friends.

My favorite class: Any French class I've taken here. I'm so passionate about the French culture and language. As hard as it can be to keep up sometimes, I love spending an hour of my day immersed in the French language.

I am involved in: I was part of the Spartan Orientation Staff and I plan to get involved in Greek life.

My favorite food on campus: Definitely a "Strawberries Wild" smoothie from Jamba Juice.
Favorite thing to do in Greensboro: Go out and listen to local music.

If I could have a superpower, it would be: To time travel, so I could go back in time. Or to be able to transport, so I could travel the world without having to pay for those awful plane tickets.

My one piece of advice for prospective students is: Open up! College is the time to really find yourself. You're in a new place with new people and can be anyone you want to be. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there and enjoy college. I promise, they'll be some of the best years of your life!
