Guide to Computer Accounts

Why should I activate my computer accounts?

Activating your computer accounts is critical because many UNCG offices communicate with students by electronic means prior to the beginning of classes! Your UNCG Computer Account Username will give you access to your UNCG email account, which you should check regularly. It will also allow you to sign up for housing and log in to computers on campus.

How do I activate my accounts?

You can activate your accounts on the Web once you receive your University ID number*, emailed to you by Undergraduate Admissions after you were admitted. You will also need your first and last name as they appear on your admission application and your date of birth.

*If you have misplaced this number, please call Undergraduate Admissions at (336) 334-5243.
