"The paths to success are often shared"

As parents, you have every right to expect first-rate services and a safe and supportive campus environment where students can flourish. UNCG is committed to providing services that promote the emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being of our students. From our freshman summer orientation program to graduation and beyond, UNCG students find help at every turn.

New students and their families can access services and resources in a caring and respectful environment through Spartan Family Programs. This office supports students and families during the transition to UNCG so that everyone is able to make the most of the college experience.

UNCG's strong sense of community is felt throughout our residence halls, many of which house residential colleges. These innovative living-learning environments encourage students to explore similar interests together with the guidance of faculty dedicated to undergraduate scholarship.

Many students find community through the Associated Campus Ministries Center, which welcomes all denominations; Student Health Services provides basic medical care as well as counseling and psychological services through the Counseling Center; and students can exercise and relieve stress at the Kaplan Center for Wellness.

We take the safety of our students very seriously. Our police officers meet the highest standards of law enforcement and crime prevention, and a walking safety escort program is available to students seven nights per week. To keep parents informed in the event of a campus emergency, UNCG offers a notification system. In addition, UNCG's Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available online.
