My personal motto is: Live well, laugh often, and love much.
My goals are: To be the best teacher I can be and to have an impact on the lives of my future students. I would also love to travel the world and experience as much as I possibly can in life.
I selected UNCG because: When I toured the campus, it felt like home to me. The campus is gorgeous! I love the warm weather in North Carolina, and the people are so nice at UNCG.
My best UNCG moment: was "running home" to Alpha Chi Omega on Bid Day in Fall 2009. Being a member of Alpha Chi Omega has really been an amazing experience for me at UNCG.
My biggest surprise at UNCG: Was how fast I was able to find my place here. UNCG offers so many fun classes to take and clubs to join that it was super easy for me to get involved right away.
My favorite place on campus: The EUC is always my favorite place. The EUC provides so many options that no matter what I am looking to do it's usually the best place to go. Whether I want to grab something to eat, find a quiet corner to study in, or meet up with friends for coffee, the EUC is the place to go!
On the weekends I: Relax! I enjoy hanging out with my friends either going out or simply having a movie night. I usually spend some time catching up on sleep and my work.
My favorite class: Relational Communication (CST 207) was by far the most interesting class I have taken so far. I was able to analyze different relationships in my life and their communication patterns. I learned a lot about why people communicate the way they do and how each relationship is affected by the type of communication each partner uses. It was a very applicable class, and I would recommend it to everyone!
I am involved in: Spartan Guides, Student Alumni Ambassadors, Resident Advisor, and Alpha Chi Omega
My favorite food on campus: The soups from Au Bon Pain. I love them all, but potato and cheese is my favorite.
Favorite thing to do in Greensboro: Is exploring. Being from out of state, everything in Greensboro is new to me. I love checking out new restaurants and stores. Greensboro really has a lot to offer.
My one piece of advice for prospective students is: Get involved in anything and everything that interests you! How you experience college is up to you and getting involved is a great way to enhance that experience.
