I selected UNCG because: When I came here for a tour, the campus just felt right. I felt like I belonged at UNCG, and I now happily call it home.
My best UNCG moment: A freshman who I lived with last year told me at the end of the year that he looked up to me and respected me because I seem to have my life in order and really love UNCG. Everyone likes to hear they are appreciated.
My favorite class: I can’t decide between NC Immigration with Dr. Nolo Martinez, and The Institution of Education with Will Bryant. Both classes were chances for me to think, rather than to just learn facts. The professors encouraged me to form my own opinions and insisted that critical thought was the most important aspect of education.
Favorite thing to do in Greensboro: Hiking at one of the city’s many beautiful parks.
If I could have a superpower, it would be: I would have telekinetic abilities. I can imagine the look on the Physics professor's face when I float a textbook across the room during his lecture about the laws of gravity.
