Major: Psychology/Pre-Medicine with a minor in Chemistry
Hometown: Concord, North Carolina
My personal motto is: "He who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing, becomes nothing. True wealth is the ability to fully experience life! Take a risk! Enjoy life!" –Rev. Run
My goals are: Getting into medical school (Hopefully UNC-Chapel Hill) and becoming a pediatric surgeon.
My favorite class: Developmental Psychology, because I was able to learn about the ways of development of children, how development affects their future growth, and how the environment is a big factor in deciding how an individual will be as an adult.
My favorite food on campus: Fried chicken with rice from the Spartan Restaurant. (They should serve it every day!)
My one piece of advice for prospective students is: Being a straight "A" student in high school doesn’t guarantee you excellent grades in college. Always keep an open mind to change, whether it's a change in ways of studying or time management.
