Meet Our Spartan Guides

Major: Communication Studies; minors in English and Media Studies
Hometown: Matthews, North Carolina
My personal motto is: Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.
I selected UNCG because: I transferred here midway through my freshman year. I was at a dance school in New York City, but UNCG was my first choice for an in-state school. I just love the diversity that UNCG has. It really is unlike any other school I’ve ever been to, and the campus is just beautiful. I love that we’re known for a plethora of reasons. Music, education, nursing, dance...You name it, we excel at it.
My biggest surprise at UNCG: How easily I found my place here when I first transferred.
My favorite class: I really loved my Abnormal Psychology class! My teacher was phenomenal. I also had a great time in Major American Authors with Professor Cuda. I love English so much.
My favorite food on campus: The Caf, AKA, "The Spartan Restaurant." I am going to miss it intensely when I move off campus!
