I selected UNCG because: It felt right. No other school gave me the "feeling" that I got when I came to UNCG. I guess you could say it was "love at first sight."
My best UNCG moment: When I made the Chancellor's list!
My biggest surprise at UNCG: Finding out that I am not just a number. Professors really do care about the success of their students.
My favorite class: English 101. My teacher was fabulous! She helped us in our transition from high school to college, which was great for us as freshmen. It was also good because I met some great people who I am still friends with today.
My one piece of advice for prospective students is: Never give up. It gets tough sometimes, and I know this from firsthand experience. But what I have learned is to persevere. It pays off in the end. Trust me.
