Freshman requirements and application information

Admission to UNCG for traditional freshmen is competitive based on a combination of your overall high school and/or college record as well as SAT or ACT scores. In addition, in-state and out-of-state applicants must meet the minimum high school course requirements.

Application process

The goal of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions is to provide you with an admission decision as quickly as possible. Freshman admission is competitive. Please visit Application Instructions and Deadlines for more information.

International students should visit the International Programs Center for additional requirements.

Students who are interested in applying to Lloyd International Honors College should note that a separate application is required. Please visit the LIHC site to learn more.
