Where to start

Accept our offer of admission using SpartanLink—You must do this to reserve your space. A spot in UNCG's incoming class is yours as long as you accept our offer of admission by May 1. (If admitted after May 1, you must reply within four weeks of the date on your admission letter.) SpartanLink
Successfully complete courses in progress. All About Admission
Have official final transcripts sent—due July 15 for fall admission (December 20 for spring admission). All About Admission
Activate your UNCG computer accounts. Guide to Computer Accounts
Housing—if you wish to live on campus, complete the online housing contract and any required pre-payment by the due date listed on the housing Web site. Living on Campus
Financial Aid—if you plan to apply for financial aid, file the FAFSA by March 1 for priority consideration. Costs & Financial Aid
Credit by Exam—if you wish to receive AP or IB credit, have your scores sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, P.O. Box 26170, Greensboro, NC 27402-6170. All About Admission
Complete the student medical form—due prior to the Spartan Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) program. Student Health Services
Complete Health Insurance Verification—students enrolled in more than 6 semester hours must verify health insurance coverage. Student Health Services
Sign up for Advising & Registration by Appointment— For transfer, adult, and former UNCG students only. (Not required for students in online degree programs.) Orientation & Advising
Make your reservation to attend SOAR—the Spartan Orientation, Advising, and Registration program. (Not required for students in online degree programs.) You can make your reservation online starting in February. Orientation & Advising
Pay your bill. Costs & Financial Aid
