"The paths to success are often shared"
As parents, you have every right to expect first-rate services and a safe and supportive campus environment where students can flourish. UNCG is committed to providing services that promote the emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being of our students. From our freshman summer orientation program to graduation and beyond, UNCG students find people ready to help them at every turn.
UNCG's strong sense of community is felt throughout our residence halls, many of which house living-learning communities designed to promote a sense of belonging. For details about residence halls, housing deadlines, and other information, visit Housing and Residence Life.
Many students find community through the Associated Campus Ministries Center, which welcomes all denominations; Student Health Services provides basic medical care as well as counseling and psychological services through the Counseling Center; and students can exercise and relieve stress at the Student Recreation Center.
We also take the safety of our students very seriously. Our police officers meet the highest standards of law enforcement and crime prevention, and a walking safety escort program is available to students seven nights per week. To keep parents informed in the event of a campus emergency, UNCG offers a notification system. In addition, UNCG's Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available online.
