Transfer Tuesdays

For prospective transfer and adult students, held in fall and spring

These evening information sessions give transfer and adult students the chance to talk with representatives from Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid in a relaxed atmosphere.

Destination UNCG

For admitted freshmen and their families, held in the spring

This event helps admitted students get a jump start on their freshman year. Students explore academic interests, learn about student life, tour residence halls and living-learning communities, sign up for housing and orientation (SOAR), and pre-register for some fall classes.

First Look

For prospective students and their families, held in the fall (North Carolina) and late spring (Virginia and Maryland)

Spartan Showcase

For high school juniors and seniors, held in October

Fall is the perfect time to learn about the world of opportunities available at UNCG. Talk to current students and faculty, take a tour, and learn about our outstanding academic programs.

Campus Tours

For all prospective students and their families, held throughout the year

We encourage all prospective students to schedule a visit, which includes an information session with an Admissions staff member and a tour led by a current student. Tours are held on weekdays at 1:30, and at 9:30 on Mondays and Fridays only. Occasional Saturday tours are also available.
