Transfer applications are reviewed on a rolling and space-available basis. Please note that students who complete the application process and are eligible to apply for the UNCG Scholars Program (Merit Awards) will receive notification prior to the specified deadline.
Freshman Notification Deadlines for Fall 2013
Received by: November 9
Notification no later than: December 15
Please note: We often need additional information from applicants after the initial review of their applications due to incomplete and/or omitted information. All requested information must be received by our posted deadlines. Our application process typically takes 4-6 weeks once all materials are received by our office, and applying too close to the deadline is strongly discouraged due to these time constraints.
Regulations implemented by the UNC system require us to request additional information regarding Community Standards Questions, if needed. If an application is received without reasonable time to collect this information, we will be unable to review the application, and you must reapply and submit a new application fee to be considered for a subsequent semester.
Early High School Graduates
Students who plan to complete high school in less than four years with the intention of enrolling at UNCG are considered on a case-by-case basis. To determine if you are eligible to enroll as an early high school graduate, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 336.334.5243.
Summer School
Students planning to attend Summer Session* at UNCG must complete the Summer Student Information Form. Summer Session courses and the information form may be obtained in mid-March by visiting the Summer Session Web page or by contacting the Office of Summer Session, UNCG, 915 Northridge Street, Greensboro, NC 27402, phone 336.315.7044 (outside Greensboro, 1.866.334.CALL).
* Permission to register for Summer Session does not constitute admission to the university nor any of its programs for fall or spring semesters.
Please note: The Summer Session registration process does not apply to former UNCG students. Please refer to the Former Students section above for application deadlines.
